Joint involvement (0/1/2/3/5) + serology (0/2/3) + acute-phase reactants (0/1) + symptom duration ≥6 wk (0/1). Range 0–10; ≥6 = definite RA.
  • Score ≥6: sensitivity ~91%, specificity ~89% for RA
  • ACPA is more specific than RF for RA

About the creator

The 2010 ACR/EULAR classification criteria for rheumatoid arthritis were developed jointly by the American College of Rheumatology and the European League Against Rheumatism to replace the 1987 criteria and support earlier diagnosis.
