Symptom items (nasal congestion, sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal itching, ocular symptoms) + QoL items (sleep, daily activities, work/school). Each 0–3. Total 0–24.
- 0–8 mild; 9–16 moderate; 17–24 severe
- Intranasal corticosteroids are most effective monotherapy for moderate-to-severe disease
- Allergen immunotherapy can modify disease course
